Mateo Garcia is co-founder and member of the board of TuMaDro Inc. With experience of over 11 years in R&D, he brings to the team expertise ranging from new product development, to manufacturing, quality control and regulatory affairs. Born a tinkerer, he enjoys solving complex problems while delivering simple and implementable solutions. Mateo graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with bachelor’s degrees in Applied Physics and Industrial and Systems Engineering. While at GT, he worked at several research laboratories leading to various scientific publications in peer reviewed journals. Since graduation he has worked at MedShape, Inc., an Atlanta based start-up focusing on the development of state of the art solutions for the medical implant industry. Mateo serves as an operations engineer focused on the manufacturing transfer of new products. Given his affinity for international business he is also the Director for international sales focusing on the development and implementation of market penetration strategies outside of the United States.
Pedro Garcia is a co-founder and member of the board of TuMaDro Inc. He brings to the team more than 6 years of experience in systems development, processes optimization, product management, control and systems implementation. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Industrial Engineering and a minor in Pre-Law. During his studies he worked in the university’s Nano-Technology Research Center, where he gained valuable insight into the manufacturing and R&D processes of the semi-conductor industry. Since graduation, he has worked in the auto industry as a sales operations analyst and product analyst at Porsche Cars North America, the largest importer of Porsche vehicles in the world. He’s worked on the national sales systems training and development group, developing and implementing solutions to enhance the customer experience at the dealerships and the marketing analytics team. He pursues his main passion of serving the community through the Porsche Care Network as an advisor and supporter to several service organizations in the Metro Atlanta area.
Maria Garcia is a member of the Board. She’s the Co-Founder and CEO of multi-co production group, which focuses on creating innovative environments that submerge people into new and unforgettable experiences. She’s a Production Design Graduate from the Savannah Collage of Art and Design. She has 5 years of design experience in the entertainment industry including themed entertainment, live shows and marketing events handling everything from conceptual design to final execution.
Ana Garcia is a member of the Board. Her experience is focused in marketing, sales and business development acumen. She’s currently the Client Relations Associate for a bio-skills lab in Atlanta, Georgia helping medical device companies run educational programs for medical practitioners. She previously served as co-founder and business development manager of a medical device startup focused on delivering eye care health services to low income families and individuals. She graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor of arts in International Relations.
Simon Garcia is a member of the Board. He’s currently attending Manhattan School of Music pursuing a bachelors degree in Classical Voice. He’s a graduate of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts with a major in Vocal Performance. He brings to the Tumadro team his experience in sales and marketing strategy. He has over 4 years of experience in the music and wholesale industries. He enjoys playing guitar, singing, playing soccer, and working out.
Sofia Garcia is a member of the Board. She is completing her senior year at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts majoring in Vocal Performance. She brings to the team strong leadership skills and peer relations. She is the current Student Government President and has held this position for the previous two years. She enjoys playing guitar, singing, and dancing.
Dorotea is a member of the Board. Mother to the six Garcias, she serves as a strategy consultant to TuMaDro, Inc. She is a distinguished artist in both performing and fine arts and brings over 30 years of fundraising experience to the team. Dorotea was born in Manhattan, NY and grew up in Bogota, Colombia where she started her career in photography and graphic design. Dorotea has organized multiple award winning musical groups and has owned and managed several businesses including Brioche, Comer Bien, and La Vanguardia.
Kelsey Moore is a member of the Board, managing the day to day operations of the website and content strategy of the company. She has over five years of experience in the Information Technology industry specifically focused on web technologies and content management. She graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Business Administration concentrating in Information Technology. Since graduation she has worked for Chick-fil-A’s corporate office managing the company’s content management platforms. She enjoys playing soccer and volunteering in her spare time.
